The Yin Yang Tree of Life speaks to me about the many joys and sorrows we experience in life. I look at the upper tree with the wind gently tussling the leaves and branches. shaping ones existence. I look at the lower tree, created by voids, and the winds seem harsher, colder: pulling and stretching the threads of our life.
The upper and lower trees are largely the same. One shaped by gentle breezes and the other by screeching winds. But then again, how can we grow, reach to the skies without strong roots to ground and support us.
Usually, at shows, when folks comment on this image, I say “Thank You, it is one of my favorites” and smile. But, to me, there is so much more here.
