This pattern is designed as a framed ellipsis. I wanted to present it a a porthole we are peeking through to see a mermaid tending the octopus’ garden, who is sitting on the sand bed. I guess you know where I’d like to be.
This cutting is an image from Timber Lace. I have full permission to duplicate it.
This image is cut from 1/4 inch maple inlay to walnut backed with handcrafted paper.
