This image is cut from a 1/4 inch board.
I saw a picture of a cat sitting in a diamond window. The house I lived in when I was a teen had diamond windows… Boom, the rest is history.
This piece nicely illustrates lots of techniques one can achieve with a scroll saw. The books on the bookshelf are cut with a single pass of the saw blade. The downside of a single pass is no wiggle room: I have one shot to get it right.

As with all my work, I used my scroll saw in the construction of the art, no computer guided tools.
This cutting is based on my own design.
