This image is cut from 1/4 inch board over paper with an oval mat.
This image captures horses thundering over the plains coming towards the viewer. I did modify the original by adding a few more horses. The cut work is delicate and the mosaic of voids creates the image for us. At 24 inches wide, it makes an imposing piece.
This cutting is based on an image from C. Dearing. I have the full permission to create this art from the image.
As with all my work, I used my scroll saw in the construction of the art, no computer guided tools.
