I saw this image of a wood spirit and I immediately thought of the Ents from JRR Tolkien. As a child, my Mother would read to us as we hand washed the dinner dishes. Even today, dish washing is a time for visiting with family, a time for hearth and home.
This cutting is an image from J Blume. I have full permission to duplicate it.
This image is cut from 1/4 inch maple inlay to walnut and backed with black paper.
