This image is cut from a 1/4 inch board.
This gate only exists in my brain. I have seen lots of dragon images. The gate allowed me to play with the dragon body creating voids which would not work otherwise.
The use of the fleur de lis is common in French and New Orleans images. I particularly like the fleurs presented as solid at the top and voids in the body of the gate.
As with all my work, I used my scroll saw in the construction of the art, no computer guided tools.
This cutting is based on my own design.
