Busting Out

I love how this pachyderm is pushing the limits of the frame. It appears, to me, to be “busting out” of the frame. This piece is a study of a new pattern for me. I made scores of tweaks to the Standard Vector Graphics file I purchased. Notably, the eye was totally reworked transform the elephant from a plodding giant to the determined image we see here. I like to test a pattern before placing it in the setting I have envisioned.
