Dear All,
Last week I recreated one of my favorite pieces. It is a stylized lotus made from stacked pieces of board. In this piece I have 4 boards. First I cut each one then I assemble them into a stack.
When one views the piece they see the voids of each ellipse receding, creating wells of different depths. The resulting image, to me, is a lotus: floating tranquilly, sharing its quiet with all who gaze upon it.
When ever I do shows, I always hang this piece near me to help the peaceful energy flow down on me.
