Pieces are approx. .75 inches thick made from 2 different species of wood
Lock and tab puzzles can be tough for little fingers. Stacking puzzles have no wrong answer. Any way the puzzler stacks them up is fine. Older folks can push the limits of the pieces stacking in crazy configurations. Although the tray was designed for storing the puzzle after playtime, it also acts as a wonderful stage.
